Twilight Over Gloucester Harbor

I was struck by the beautiful pinks found in the clouds over Gloucester Harbor. The sun was nearly down and the lights from the Blue Collar Lobster Co. glowed warmly on an otherwise cold, windy night. While composing the painting, I wanted to dramatically bring the viewer into the harbor with the pillars and keep their eye moving to the right with the direction of the boats.
