The strong elegance of the ocean reminded me of the spirit of one of my favorite models. California's Sonoma coast is magical. I was mesmerized by the sound of the waves crashing, gazing at the beach after darkness fell while camping. I felt like I was living one of Bouguereau's paintings. The image in my head had to be painted.
