Road trip inspiration at its best! This cloud system was forming, waiting for us to drive into as we headed toward the Book Cliffs across the Grand Valley in Colorado. A fantastic challenge to put my feelings into paint. I made sketches and photographs and used the memory of my feelings while working on this piece in my studio.
