Party Lights and Sunflowers

Painted over two plein air sessions on my deck. We have a string of lights that we leave up year-round. We turn them on for gatherings, special occasions...and just when we feel like it. They always give a little spark of joy and make me smile. We've called them our "splinky lights" for years. And paired with summer's jewel, sunflowers, you can't go wrong.
