Clouds Break at Loch Vale

While serving as Artist in Residence at Rocky Mountain National Park, I spent every day on long hikes. On this day, I was hiking through rain and low clouds, and was soaked through by the time I reached Loch Vale. As I came to The Loch, the rain stopped, the clouds parted, and warm sunlight soaked the landscape. It remains one of my favorite moments in the park.
