Into the Light

My inspiration for this painting is Banjo, a one-eyed kitty we adopted from a bad situation. He loves the light on his face and seems to get a bolt of energy from sunbathing. This painting is about his resilience and his love of light and everyone he meets! I used different techniques to depict his fur and the table top as I love to experiment with new tools and methods.
