Reflecting Light In Desert Wash

This is an oil painting done in one session. I saw this motif as I was walking up a wash in Red Rock Canyon State Park, California. I was struck by the light reflecting off the white sand and bouncing onto the side of the wash as well as the light on the bushes. I set up immediately to capture what was before me.
