Dew and rain are absorbed into the atmosphere creating a chilled dampness and smells of wet grass and foliage fill the air. A soft grey veil subdues the colors and values of the landscape and barn yet, color as subtle as it is, still makes it presence known. Working with a limited Tonalist palette made it a pleasure to convey the morning mood of this new day.
