Unveiling Autumn

Capturing the nuance of autumn colors with paint can be so challenging, but in the end these paintings are the most rewarding. Fall foliage is at its peak for such a short period of time, and photographs often don’t communicate the colors and mood as they were felt. But when I spend time painting a fall scene, it’s so satisfying to be able to saturate my senses with color and truly experience the moment again. Hopefully it brings you back to a misty autumn memory.
