Mud Berth, River Stour, Essex UK
My family and I lived for a year in Manningtree on the river Stour (Constable country). There I painted many plein air watercolors of boats in their mud births along the river side. The light was constantly changing along with the weather, and the same location often produced pleasing different results the next day. This studio water color was painted from photos and sketches.
