Fly Fishing the Carlton

Sunlight hit the fly fishing buddies on a clear fall day, at just the right angle by the Carlton trout river.
I love to bring my easle out when I can to paint while two of my favorite fly fishermen fish. And it is exciting to have the plein air work turn out. As all sorts of weather and situations can detour you as a painter, and the subsequent results. Many of my paintings can be found in print, as a working illustrator, I paint plein air also for myself and for illustrations. My art is found in many public and private collections, such as: The Education Dept. of California, Frankel Heart Center University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, Toledo-Lucus Library, DeVos Children's Hospital, Sprint Corporation, and many more.
