This painting was inspired by the effortless beauty of a meadow on a summer day. While on vacation, our family went for a walk and we came across this hill. The next day I told my daughter to put on her dress and sunhat and we went back for a closer look. The sun was shining, sheep were grazing.. it was just perfect. Up there on the hill.
