This is a plein air painting in the Moss Landing commercial harbor off Highway One on the California coast 10 miles north of Monterey. I've painted in plein air here a number of times through the years and this is one of my favorites. This small fishing boat got underway just before I finished. I painted this using only a pallet knife!
