The Textures of Sedona , Castle Rock , Sedona

Painting for a week in Sedona , I wanted to paint the textures and colors of the rocks . It was a challenge to make sense of the rock facade at Castle rock and to find a story within the towering cliff face. I am glad I tackled this as I learnt a whole new mark making process.
