Evening Light over Jerome . Arizona

Deep shadows cast long shapes down the slopes of the mining town of Jerome Arizona . Painted outdoors towards days end the sinking sun light passed betweeen the mountains creating stong contrasting bands of color. I was able to use this backdrop to highlight the cluster of disused mining equipment, yard and sheds. What a delightful afternoon
