Cliff dweller . One with the earth. Awe looking at these dwellings it affected me deeply .I felt I was looking at how closley mankind can live attached to the landscape they live in . I was reminded of the solitary bees in Bodega Bay , who build tubes in the side of the coastal cliffs where they lay their pupae . I painted scenes of this in 1985 for the Academy of Sciences Entomology Department
