The Way I Hold my Brush

Sitting in my car, I enjoyed painting my kids’ toy octopus as it held my paintbrush. The afternoon sun streamed through the windshield, bringing the octopus to life. This piece is the first in my toy and brush series,
reflecting two major aspects of my current life as a mother and artist.
